Golden Giveaway Rules
1. Entry
Entries may be submitted on or after 1st June 2010 (‘the Start Date’) and must reach the Promoter no later than 30th September 2010 (“the Closing Date”) By submitting their entry entrants will be deemed to have agreed to be bound by these rules and in relation to any goods or services supplied to them as a result of this competition to the Promoter’s terms and condition of trading published on its website (www.telcare.co.uk). Entries through agents or third parties will be invalid.
2. Winner announcement
The winner will be announced on the Promoters website (www.telcare.co.uk) within one month after the Closing Date and the winner will be notified personally as soon as practicable either before or after this date.
3. Eligibility
The competition is open to all London and South East businesses and business owners, except those who:-
- at any time between the Start Date and the date on which the winner is selected (inclusive) are employees of Telcare Limited (‘the Promoter’), any of its wholly owned subsidiaries or any marketing services agency, handling house or other company involved directly with the administration of this competition, or any member of their households; or
- have prior to the Start date purchased goods or services from the Promoter
4. Validity
There is a limit of one entry per business. Correspondence will be entered into only at the absolute discretion of the Promoter.
5. To win
The winning entry will be that which has been completed and submitted together with a written answer of approximately 200 words to the question “what would installation of a free telephone system mean to you and your business?” which in the judges’ opinion is the most compelling. The panel of judges will be the directors of the Promoter [together with at least one independent member.] Its decision will be final.
6. The prize
The prize will be a Siemens Telephone System configured to work with up to 4 lines and 8 extensions. 4 digital handsets will be included as well as cabling, installation and user training. A year’s maintenance support will also be included free of charge. The Promoter may in its absolute discretion substitute or offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value. The winning candidate will be invited to continue the maintenance support for further years at an agreed price.
7. Winner Publicity
Entrants accept that, if they win, the Promoter will have the right, without additional payment or permission, to use their and their business’ name, town of residence/place of business and likeness for the purposes of announcing the winner of this competition and for related promotional purposes.
8. Entries
All entries will become the property of the Promoter on its receipt of them and will not be returned. Entrants hereby assign to the Promoter all worldwide copyright and like rights in their entries and waive all moral rights.
9. Winning entry details
The name of the winner and the winning entry will be sent to anyone who writes within 3 months after the closing date, enclosing a stamped addressed envelope, to the Promoter at 2 Beaufort House, Beaufort Court, Medway City Estate, Rochester Kent ME2 4FB above, requesting details of the winning entry.
10. Data privacy
The Promoter would like to keep entrants informed of the Promoter’s similar products and services by email, post and/or telephone. Please write to us at the address in Rule 9 if you specifically do not want to receive this information by email or email us at helpdesk@telcare.co.uk We will not pass your email address to third parties for marketing purposes.
11. The Promoter
The Promoter is Telcare Limited whose registered office is at 2 Beaufort House, Beaufort Court, Medway City Estate, Rochester Kent ME2 4FB (please do not send entries to this address).
12. Force Majeure
The promoter reserves the right to suspend or cancel this competition if due to any event beyond its own reasonable control it is unable to perform its obligations hereunder. In such event the promoter will publish notice of the suspension or cancellation on its website but shall not be required to notify individual entrants or publicise the fact in any other way.
